Alomar, like Manny Ramirez, was one of the most fickle players when it came to his game used bats. Roberto used every brand imaginable along with many different models, sizes and color schemes. He favored Cooper bats during his early days, especially during his Toronto days. He also swung LVS, Rawlings, Hoosier, Mizuno, KC Slammer bats among others. Interestingly, he swung everything from 33" to 35" bats. He prepped his bats in different manners from shaving the handle, taping the handle, heavy tar or no tar at all. Alomar also constantly swung bats of teammates and fellow players. It is imperative that Alomar bats display proper player characteristics or have provenance before investing in an Alomar gamer.
